The schedule has just been announced and the Dallas Tigers Gold will be playing to win one of the berths to Nationals. The qualifier will be held in Spring, TX, June 11-13, 2010.
Schedule is:
Friday (June 11th) at 4:30 pm
vs. FW Batbusters - Brann
CF4 (Cy-Fair Field 4)
Winners play at 9:45 pm
CF2 (Cy-Fair Field 2)
Losers play at 3:00 pm on Saturday

15-4A SOFTBALL: Forney rises to top of district standings
With Poteet on a bye on Tuesday, it had a chance to watch the two teams it is chasing in the 15-4A race.
Forney assumed control of the district race with a through 12-0 rout of Red Oak to take over sole possession of first place.
The Jackrabbits are now 6-0 as the district midpoint nears. The Hawks fell to 5-1, with the Pirates coming in just behind with a 4-2 record.
West Mesquite was unable to pick up its second district win as it fell to Mabank, 18-3.
Poteet had dropped a tough 2-1 decision to Red Oak last Friday.

| Green Out night - April 1st Against Forney
Mesquite Poteet will face arch rival Forney in a district 15A face off that will likely determine the overall winner of the district. Game time is 7:00 PM at the Mesquite Girl's Softball Complex Field 3. |
15-4A SOFTBALL: Poteet picks up big win over Terrell
Poteet has not enjoyed the kind of success it is accustomed to in non-district play but that has not carried over into 15-4A action.
The Pirates improved to 4-1 in district play on Tuesday with a 1-0 win over Terrell. Annah Fry allowed just two hits in a complete-game shutout effort and the offense was able to do just enough to get the win.
Fry had also picked up the win last Tuesday in a 4-1 victory over Mabank, allowing just a run on four hits.

The Poteet Pirates are eager to begin district play. They kick off their season against arch rival, Forney. Sophomore pitcher Annah Fry will take the mound and try to deliver an opening district game victory against the Jackrabbit. Poteet is expecting a tough game at Warren Middle School in Forney Tuesday night March 9th at 7:00 PM. |
Strong Night Saturday Feb 27th
I pitched 2 games Saturday evening. We won the first game 7-1 against Stephenville High School. I gave up 3 hits and 2 walks and struck out 13.
In the second game, we the offense came alive and gave me great run support in a 5-0 win over Fossil Ridge High School. I pitched 7 innings, walked 1 and struck out 11. I also added 2 doubles.
I was 2-0 on the night with 24 strike outs, 3 walks and a .54 ERA.

What a great beginning!!!
I pitched a 2 hitter in the first game of the season. We won 3-0.
I struck out 11 and only gave up one hit to the outfield.
I went 2 for 3 at the plate. 2 singles and a pop out,
In my second game, I pitched 4 innings and struck out 5. We lost 1-0. The lone run was attributed to an error. So I still have my 0.00 ERA,
I went 1 for 2 at the plate.
Season totals. 11 innings pitched, 16 strike outs 0.00 ERA and I am hitting 600. |
All the hard work is about to pay off. Season starts today!!!
