2010 Honors
Last night was our Softball Awards Banquet. It was a great night to honor all the graduating seniors. However, on a personal note, I earned the "Scholar Athlete Award" for maintaining a GPA higher than 3.5 and I was also voted "Defensive Player of the Year," JV Team. I'd like to thank my coaches Casey and Jamie for all of their encouragement and support throughout the season.

End of a great season!
While I am sad to see my JV season in high school come to an end, I had so much fun playing for my high school and making new friends. I ended the season with some hitting stats that I am very proud of... earning the most hits, most runs, most RBI's and highest batting average on the team! In addition, my teammate (catcher) and I caught 10 girls stealing! I am very honored that my hard work and determination were recognized as I have been called up to the Varsity team for CIF playoffs. Go Chargers!

League Rematch
Had an amazing day on the field. Played a rematch against Thousand Oaks... hitting 2 singles and 2 doubles in 4 at bats with 3 RBI's for the day. Capped things off with catching another girl stealing (8) and yet another double play.

First Weekend at the Royal JV Softball Tournament
Had a great time on Saturday with my team playing a double header at the Royal JV Softball Tournament. Even though we lost the first game in a tight contest, we won the second game of the day. I went 3 for 5 (a double, two singles and two runs scored) with a walk for the weekend and another RBI. I saw lots of action at short which is always loads of fun. Can't wait to see what next weekend brings.

Great game today
Had another great game today nearly hitting the cycle with a single, double and a triple... 2 RBI's, 2 runs scored and defensively, with our catcher, picked off another player trying to steal (number 7 for the season).

Double Trouble!
Yesterday brought the perfect clear and crisp weather that is best for playing softball. It is great to live in California where you can play nearly every day. Had an exciting game against our (as of then) undefeated rival, Royal JV, and we won 3 - 1. Go Chargers! It was a great game and I turned my 5th double play of the season!

Enjoying the High School Experience
I am having a blast playing short stop for my JV team. So far since the preseason began I have 24 put outs and 26 assists.

Let the games begin!
After some great pre-season games, I am looking forward to the official start of my high school season as the starting short stop. Go Chargers!!!
