So I took an Official to Dixie State in St. George, Utah, and on my visit I took a campus tour, and the campus was wonderful. I loved it so much, their communications major equipment was amazing! After my tour, I met up with the softball coaches both Coach Buchanan and Coach Simkins, we had lunch, then went to the club house and talked. I absolutely loved it there! Although it was a bit cold, the coaches are great and so are the girls! I am hoping to take another soon... |

This past weekend October 3-4 at the Southwest Showdown in Las Vegas Nevada, I batted .500 with a homerun, double and a single and had 4 rbi's and also layed down a sacrifice bunt, putting a run in scoring position which did score. My team Las Vegas Rage Gold won 4 games and tied 1 . |

I was 4 for 8 overall this past weekend in San Diego, with three triples (two of them back to back), a single, two walks and 3 RBI'S. Also I came into pitch in our first game on Sunday and pitched two scoreless innings. |

Desiree Laswell threw a three-hitter Monday, striking out seven, to lead Sierra Vista to a 9-2 home win over Spring Valley.

I hit 3 consecutive doubles followed by a single, and also a HBP, my team Las Vegas Rage Gold did well and had some close games, as well as 2 Wins. Along with that I played very well at first base making some great digs. Overall this fall my batting average reamins at .460. |

Sierra Vista 5, Coronado 4 -- At Sierra Vista, Desiree Laswell's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the fifth broke a 4-4 tie as the Lions edged the Cougars.
Ashley Krumme tripled with two outs in the fifth to score Andrea McIntosh with the tying run. Krumme then scored on Laswell's hit.
Krumme and Laswell each went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and two RBIs.

Desiree Laswell struck out the side in the seventh inning, stranding the potential tying and go-ahead runs, and Desert Oasis’ held off visiting Clark 3-2 in softball Friday.
The Diamondbacks carried a 3-0 lead into the seventh before a walk, hit and two errors allowed Clark to score twice and put runners at second and third with no outs.
Laswell tossed a one-hitter, striking out 15 and walking two. She also went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Emily Heinz was 2-for-3 with two runs for Desert Oasis.

Lions' hurler strikes out eight in 1-0 victory
Bonanza just couldn't overcome Sierra Vista's Desiree Laswell on Monday.
Laswell fired a two-hit shutout, and hit a solo home run leading off the top of the seventh inning to give the Lions a 1-0 road softball win over the Bengals on
Laswell yielded a pair of singles and had eight strikeouts.
