Lady Vikings fall in Regional Title round.
The Lady Vikings fell in the championship round of the 16th Regional Tournament Thursday to Ashland-Blazer, 8-4. After taking down Russell and Boyd County in the first two rounds of the tourney, Rowan faced off with the 27-3 Kittens. Even before the season began, the Lady Viks marked Ashland as the team to beat. The Kittens graduated their starting pitcher last season, but boasted five seniors this year.
