 | Good week in Colorado
Last week I played in the Sparkler. Our team won our pool but wasn't as successful in bracket play. It was a fun week. I hit well and learned to play 2nd base. I still love 3rd though. |
| Hit 2 homeruns in back to back at bats!!
Played in the JO Classic this weekend. First 4 at bats on Saturday, pitchers wouldn't pitch any strikes to swing at. I had 4 walks!! My first 2 at bats on Sunday I hit homeruns!!
Weekend was great at 3rd base but coaches are playing me at 2nd too now. Was a lot of fun. |

| CIF-SS D1 CHAMPIONS--- PUT A RING ON IT!!
The Santa Margarita Catholic High Eagles defeated Corona in the CIF-SS Division 1 Championship game 12-9. It was the first time my school softball team has made it past the 2nd round of playoffs. We defeated Rio Hondo of Oxnard, Simi Valley, Marina, and Valencia of Valencia along the way. I stole a base and scored two of our runs. It was the most amazing experience of my life!! We are really sad to lose our only senior. But, next year should be just as fabulous!! |

We beat Nationally Ranked Simi Valley yesterday 1-0!! Will play Marina in the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals tomorrow. I think we will do well. Keep you posted. |
Hit 0.500 this week!!
I hit a triple to start my weekend in Beaumont at the Gold Classifier. Continued the weekend with a 0.500 BA!! We didn't play great as a team because we had a lot of illnesses. But, we ended up classifying anyways!!
I continued the week with 2 scrimmage games for high school. I also hit 0.500 for those 2 games. It's been a fun week!! |
| Prepping for Classification
Nicole Delgado has been training daily to get ready for the classification tournament this weekend. OC Elite Christina will play at 2pm at Noble Creek Regional Park. She hit 0.500 at her last outing. She is looking to up her average this weekend to help her team to earn the So Cal ASA Gold name. |

Jodi Legaspi and Lisa Fernandez came out to practice. Very cool. Now we all are using the new Fernandez bat. It has great pop. Can't wait to try it out in games. |
Summer was good
I had a great summer. I love the competition of the tournaments. I finished strong fielding at 3rd. But also did well pitching when my coaches need me there. I think I'd like to focus on playing the infield for now. I love it! |
| Great week at Western's
I just finished a great week at Western's!! I had a game winning ground-rule double against Island Ladies! I also got on twice last week for base hits with sneaky bunts with runners on 1st and 2nd!! We all were safe!! Hahaha That's so much fun. |
Headed for Las Vegas
I will be playing with OC Elite 18 White at the JO Classic in Vegas June 13-14, 2009. Look for my first time pitching at 43 feet, at 3rd or at 1st. I love them all!! |
