Newtown Rock Gold Showcase #2 and New England's Finest
Sorry for the lack of updates, it has been a busy month so far!
The Aunt Rosie's Showcase Tournament went well in Buffalo, NY two weeks ago.
Coming up this weekend on Saturday and Sunday the Rochester Lightning Elite and I will be playing in the second Newtown Rock Gold Showcase in Newtown, PA.

My team Rochester Lightning Elite 18u and I had a good start to our summer season last weekend at the Lady Raiders College Showcase in Horseheads, NY.
Our next venue is the Newtown Rock 18u Gold Showcase in Newtown, PA.

Following up on the tournament...it was such a blast! It was great to see my team again and we played very well. Our games were at 3pm against Amherst Lightning and 6pm against WNY Elite. Both teams were very good as well. It felt good to be in a game situation again too. Overall, the tournament was a success and a good team bonding experience! |
Slap Hitting Session at CNY Fastpitch 11/1
Nina will be attending a slap hitting session at CNY Fastpitch in Syracuse, NY with some of her fellow teammates. The session will be conducted by Tracy Roman.

NJ Sharks Pre-Freeze Showcase Tourny (10/11-10/12) Wrap-up
As our last tournament of the fall season, the Lightning Elite had a long drive to and from Voorhees, NJ to think. This tournament stood as a good measuring stick for the team, a good idea for what to look forward to in the summer. Overall, the trip was fun, good team bonding experience, and a learning experience as well.
We faced some pretty tough competition in a pretty competitive A/Gold schedule...that's what it's all about right? Lightning Elite doesn't play in tournaments that will be... |

 | New Era College Showcase (10/4-10/5) Wrap-up
The New Era College Showcase games were my first games as the 1st basemen for the Lightning Elite 18U. We played great and played like a team that had been together for years even though most of us have never played together before. We walked away from the fields 3-1-1.
Starting off on Saturday we faced some good competition. Ending the day with our only tie (1-1) and our only loss. I finished 4-6 hitting with a triple that came with 2 RBIs. In the field I caught a line drive foul and routinely... |
