 | IT IS OFFICIAL Yesterday I signed to TCC in Tallahassee, Florida. I am very excited with my decision and can't wait to play for coaches Townsend and McKibben.
I want to thank everyone that followed me these past few years and a big thankyou to all the colleges that offered me the opportunity to play for them. I wish you all continued success with your softball programs! |
 | HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! I hope everyone is enjoying their Holidays. I am enjoying the extra time with family and friends. Looking forward to high school aoftball after the winter break. Visiting some colleges in Florida in January, and just enjoying my senior years.

 | Thanksgiving Break, but we still have open fields Even though we are on Thanksgiving Break our new high school coach has us practicing"open field" tomorrow and then we are all going out for pizza and to pick our new uniforms. I think this year is getting off to a great start. Look for great things from the Granada Matadors in 2010 |

I am both anxious and sad at the same time. Hard to believe I am a senior and this will be my last year playing high school softball.

 | Official visit I had my official visit to Humboldt State University. I enjoyed meeting the coaches and working out with the team. They asked me to sign a letter of intent to play for their team in 2010 and to attend the university. Unfortunately the school was just not a fit for me. I do want to thank them all for having me and I wish them continued success with their program. |
 | Alanna Leasau to Visit Humboldt State I am headed up to Northern California on Thursday for an official visit to Humboldt State University. I am excited to finally meet Coach Sarchett and Coach Cheek. Looking forward to the tour and a great workout with the team. |
 | Still looking, so many schools! Just back from a weekend in Huntington Beach. Lots of softball and lots of scouts. I had an awesome weekend and played in 12 games. Whew!!! We will have one more showcase in Hemet, California November 21st and 22nd and then the fall season will be officially over.
I have been reviewing my college choices and contacting coaches to get updates on their recruiting status. I have been asked to go on an official visit to Humboldt State next week.

 | Alanna Leasau has been asked to be a mentor for younger girls I have been asked by a coach of a 12U A team if I would be willing to volunteer to come out to their practices, help train and teach and be a role model and mentor to the younger girls.
I am so excited that first of all they asked me to help, 2nd that they think so highly of me to want these girls to look up to me and 3rd being given the opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to me.
All my hard work has paid off. I have an easy senior year, which will allow me to volunteer... |

 | Alanna Leasau is Back from the Colorado Sparkler After a week in Colorado I am back home. My team Lady Hustle was eliminated on Friday. I really had a great time. Played in the All-Star game, met lots of new people, my hitting was on, with a single homerun and a three run homerun and lots of doubles and single in between.
Now I have a week off and then it is off to Huntington Beach for the Surf City Tourney. Game schedule to come. |

 | Alanna Leasau had a great week Powder Puff football was so much fun. I had a blast. We beat the sophmores on Wednesday night, but Thursday night the Senior beat us. It was the best.
Saturday and Sunday my travel team will be in Stockton California for the Grapettes June Talent Showcase. All of my games will be at Arnaiz Field. Highway 99 and Morada.

 | Last game of the season today Today we play our cross town rivals from Livermore High. It is the last game of the high school season!!!!!
Livermore high has placed 1st in the EBAL. If it couldn't be us, I am glad it is them. I have many friends on that team. We will still go out and play hard today!!! |

 | An EBAL win!! Finally. Well the Granada Matadors finally came away with a win. The team has done great in tournaments and
pre-season, but had problems getting a win in regular league play. Granada won 5-1 over Monte Vista.
Alanna Leasau was 2 for 4 with a solid double to left center to score 2 RBI's.
Granada's next game is Thursday when they host San Ramon. |
 | Alanna Leasau had a great week Let's see watched San Jose State play the University of Hawaii. Met Coach Coolen. Went to Sonoma state for a great camp and enjoyed Coach Wallin. Had two league games where my bat was on, but we have yet to have an EBAL win. Tomorrow and Sunday it is back to San Jose to watch my little brother in a Rugby tournament. Whew!!!!!!! |
 | University of Hawaii- Manoa Last Friday I went to San Jose to watch San Jose State play The University of Hawaii- Manoa. College ball is sooo exciting. It was a beautiful day around 80 degrees and it was a close game. Hawaii almost pulled it off. After the game I got the chance to Meet Coach Coolen. |
 | Sonoma State University Today I was invited as a guest of the San Jose Lady Sharks 18 Gold team, to attend a camp at Sonoma State University. Coach Wallin was great. One of the best camps I have attended.  | Granada Matadors run rule the Washington Huskies 12-0 In the first day of the Queen of the Mountain Tournament, my team won 12-0. Everyone was hitting last night. We had solid pitching and defense. I got 2 doubles and 5 RBI's. Tonight we play the Antioch Panthers at 7:15 on field # 2 at Willow Pass Park in Concord |
 | Queen of the Mountain My high school team the Granada Matadors will be playing in the Queen of the Mountain Tournament on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We won this tournament last year against some tough competition. |
 | San Francisco State University Clinic Yesterday I attended the clinic at SFSU. It was the best clinic/camp I have ever attended. The coaches and the team were just awesome. Lots of stations, lots of involvement, busy and moving the entire time. Thanks coaches Byrne and Palmer!!! I had a great time. |

 | Alanna Leasau Sports performace training tonight with Kristina Thorson.Recognized as one of the most outstanding pitchers in the nation, Kristina was awarded a scholarship to Cal-Berkeley to play softball in the prestigious Pac-10. Her softball career continued to flourish at the collegiate level. Kristina was selected numerous times to the All-Pac-10 Team, All-Pacific Region Team, and to the All-American Team. In her senior year, Kristina was chosen as the Pac-10 Pitcher of the Year.

 | Back from the camps at Point Loma Nazarene and UCSD Friday I attended the camp at Point Loma Nazarene. We ran through a typical practice with the team. It was fun and they have a beautiful field right on the ocean.
Saturday I attended the camp at the University of California San Diego. We started with a tour of the campus, and ended with a 5 hour clinic. It was very organized and very informative. The team and coaches were awesome. Now I am ready for a week of tryouts for high school ball. |
 | Alanna Leasau The Sacramento State Camp was canceled due to the rain. :( That was disappointing.Sunday we have a scrimmage against Holy Names College, "if it stops raining". Heading to San Diego on Thursday. Friday is Point Loma Nazarene camp and on Saturday I will be attending the camp at UCSD. |
