Warriors dethroned in spring break tourney

The big trophy got away from Jupiter High this year.
The Warriors softball team lost 2-0 to Delray-American Heritage in the Gold Division finals Saturday in the Jupiter High School Spring Break tournament at Jupiter Community Park.
The Stallions (15-4) pushed two runs across in the eighth on a one-out single. Pitcher Lisa Wilson struck out 15 Warriors and gave up just two hits.

The Caloosa Lightning went undefeated at their 2nd straight Showcase finishing the BlueChip Showcase in Fort Meyers 5-0. The girls outscored the opponents 36-1 over the 5 games.
The pitching was outstanding with Lisa Wilson, Casey Stevens and Rachel Ivancic leading the way!

Lisa Wilson & The Caloosa Lightning went undefeated at the Kissimmee Gold Diamond Showcase this weekend. The Lightning outscored thier opponents 28-6 in the 5 game Showcase. Lightning pitching was outstanding led by Lisa Wilson, Rachel Ivancic, and Casey Stevens.
Lisa, the Pitcher, is having one of the best summer/fall seasons I have ever seen. So far this fall Lisa has pitched 17 innings in Showcases, faced 63 batters has allowed only 5 hits, walking only 4 while striking out 22 and allowing only 1 run! She is a hard thrower who lives on the outside corner with an extremely hard curveball... |
