MERIDIAN — Paced by a solid effort from pitcher Bryanna Kopczynski, the Meridian Warriors blanked the Vallivue Falcons 6-0 in 5A SIC softball Friday.
Kopczynski gave up only three hits and two walks while striking out eight.
“We played defense really well and came out pretty motivated,” Meridian coach Dave Kemper said.

Meridian Softball edges Mt. View Audrey Anderson hit the first pitch she saw Friday afternoon, knocking a double to the left-field fence that got the Meridian High softball team off to a solid start.
Anderson reached home two pitches later on an error, as Meridian defeated Mountain View 3-1 in a 5A Southern Idaho Conference game at Mountain View High.

Bk umped a couple of our games this season during league play. I had not idea what her age was. She carried herself in a very professional manner and knows the rules of the game thoroughly.
