In Pony Nationals, overall I ended with 8 doubles, 6 triples and 12 RBI's with a batting average of .318.
Our team came in 9th placed out of 75 teams and received an automatic bit for next year's Nationals! |

MONROE II: Desarae Maldonado of Irondequoit … Freshman third baseman. Maldonado hit .468 with eight triples and six doubles. She had 59 putouts and only two errors. She led her team in batting average, on base percentage, triples, doubles and overall hits.

 | New Era Lightning girls show they're elite
The New Era Lightning Elite U14 girls softball team enjoyed the 2007 Pony National Softball Tournament in North Carolina.
The team went 7-1-1 during the tournament and came out ahead of more than 115 other teams for a spot in the Final Four. Desarae Maldonado (Irondequoit) batted .407 with 5 RBI. |
