Local hurler set to take national stage

Every year they seem to get a little younger... and a little better.
You hear the buzz word skitter like night time moths around the baseball and softball diamonds in the area when you see a player like this.
Travel ball.
As May bleeds into June, area all star teams and travel ball teams will take to the road for the summer, playing in tournaments around the southeast and even around the nation.

Tiger softball coach Jimmy Pruett, Riverview Middle School seventh grader Jenna Abbott would be suiting up in the maroon and gold this fall.
She's that good.
Abbott, a good old fashioned Southpaw played this summer for the Kennworth Bandits 94 12-and-Under fastpitch softball team out of Cobb County.
