Barretto, Brown and Jensen Commit to Marauders Softball
Bismarck, ND - The University of Mary softball program added three more student-athletes for the 2010 season, Marauders head coach Gerice Olson announced today. The list includes a junior college all-conference shortstop and two all-league high school players who also captained their squads.

 | Strike Force Softball Finishes 4-3-1 at the Colorado Sparkler 2009 Strike Force finished their games going 4-3-1. I can honestly say that the Strike Force Team worked really hard till their final game. Despite this being a new group of girls they came together and delivered in the end. Brianna Jensen goes 12 for 22 at the plate to help lead her team to a 1st seed placement. On behalf of the Strike Force Softball 18 Gold Organization, we thank all the College Coaches who watched our games at the Colorado Sparkler.

 | #32 Brianna Jensen Strikes Again! Strike Force Softball 18G ending up 1st seed on Sparkler pool play. Brianna Jensen hit a double againts USA Athletics to win their first game yesterday, scored 4-3. Unfortunately, Strike Force loss their 2nd game againts Lady Stros Gold by giving up 5 runs at the 7th inning, scored 6-8. Will the Strike Force team climb back up to the top? We will just see what would be the out come of today's game. Stay tune...

 | Jensen received MVP Award at the UCSD Camp June 22-25 Last June 22-25, Brianna attended the 4 days camp softball at the UCSD. After the completion of the camp, she got recognized and nominated as a MPV by the coaches and staff of Tritions softball team. Bri had a blast at the camp and enjoyed working with the team. Brianna is looking forward to have an exciting games at the Colorado Sparkler this weekend. Please come and see her play!

 | Jensen Earns 2009 First Team All-League and All-Valley Teams Brianna earns First Team All-League and First Team All-Valley Selections this 2009 Spring Season. She also received the 2009 Offensive Player of the Year Award and was the MVP Runner-up in the Big Sky Division.
Brianna's success was coupled by having great teammates who all worked together and enjoyed their 24-3 season while going 8-0 in league. GOD is GREAT!!!

 | Brianna Jensen helps Calvary to a perfect season in league play! After hitting a 2 out single to knock in the run that tied the game in the 3rd inning. Jensen stepped up to the plate in the 5th inning with runners on 1st and 3rd and delivered the game winning shot over the centerfield wall which put the number 2 ranked Woodcrest Bobcats away for good. Calvary goes undefeated in league play for the first time. |
 | Jensen hits a Grand Slam while knocking in 7 runs againts Hamilton Brianna just misses a hitting for the cycle by hitting a Homerun, a triple, and a single while going 3 for 4 with 7 RBI's. Brianna hit a Grand Slam in the 5th inning to help Calvary Murrieta beat Hamilton 22-0. Freshman Kayla Hatch (a new member of Strike Force 18 Gold Program) pitched a perfect game, while striking out 7. Freshman Second Baseman Aly Gardner (also a new member of Strike Force 14U) went 2-4 with 2 RBI's. Calvary Murrieta is 21-3, 6-0 in league. Will they remain undefeated in League play? We'll see... 2 more games to go!

 | Calvary Murrieta stages come back to beat Riverside Christian 9 to 5 After being down 5 to 3 going into the bottom of the 6th inning, Calvary Murrieta erupts for 6 runs to put Riverside Christian away by the score of 9 to 5. Brianna Jensen delivered the big punch going 2 for 4, with 4 RBI's. In the 6th inning with the score tied at 5 and the bases loaded, Brianna hits a line drive on an 0-2 pitch to left center to knock in 2 runs and put the game away for good. Teammate Kayla Hatch closed out the top of Riverside Christians order by pitching flawlessly.

 | Brianna would like to congratulate all her Strike Force Teammates who have signed to colleges this past year! I would like to congratulate my teammates who recently signed with colleges this past season. Harmony Palmer received a full ride scholarship to Harvey Mudd and will play for Clairemont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) College. Janelle Medor received a scholarship from Hope International University (HIU) and last but not least I am proud of my sister Angelica for deciding to continue playing softball and will join Janelle at HIU who also received the maximum scholarship from HIU. Congratulations ladies, I will miss playing with you, but I wish you all good luck on your new journey! |
 | Brianna helps Strike Force 16U earn a berth to ASA Nationals in 2008. Brianna and her Strike Force teamates are headed to ASA Nationals in Owensboro, Kentucky. Brianna played a crucial part in helping her team place 3rd in the Southern California State Championship qualifier in 2008.
After going undefeated on Friday and Saturday, Strike Force faced off with TNL in the first game on Sunday and although they had many opportunities to win the game, they failed to execute. Woodcrest Christian trailed Calvary Murrieta by one run entering the seventh inning of its CIF Southern Section Division VI semifinal on Tuesday. Then the floodgates opened and the Warriors poured across 10 runs in an impressive slugging exhibition that included two doubles and two home runs in a 12-1 victory at Woodcrest Christian School.

Brianna Jensen delivers 2 RBI's with a double and a single while going 2 for 3 to help the Warriors defeat La Quinta High School 6 to 0. Brianna played flawless defense at 3rd Base in helping pitcher Tory Ferreira pitch a perfect game. The Warriors are now 2-0 in this tournament returning to Costa Mesa March 8th. If they win their next 2 games they win the Costa Mesa Tournament.

 | Brianna Jensen makes Great Oak HS Varsity team as a Freshman Brianna Jensen followed her older sister's foot steps by making the Great Oak Varsity Softball Team as the starting 3rd baseman in her freshman year. Brianna joined her sister Angelica not only by making the Varsity squad as a freshman but they made up the left side of the infield. Angelica has been the starting Shortstop at Great Oak High School since her sophomore year. Her freshman year she was the starting 2nd baseman.

Brianna recorded the 2nd best batting average on the team going 35 for 75, with 7 doubles, and 1 Homerun. She led her team in RBI's with 22. Helping Strike Force to 22-9-2 record. The team knew from the onset that this was going to be a tough weekend with some of the Best Teams in SoCal entered in the tournament. Strike Force started the weekend going 3-0 on Saturday to finish 2nd in Pool Play against some very tough competition. On Sunday, again against some tough teams the team went 2-1 to finish with an overall record of 5-1 and place 3rd in the tournament.

 | Jensen sparks Strike Force 16U team with a .500 BA at USSSA Summer Sizzler The Strike Force 16U team took 1st place at the USSSA Summer Sizzler Tournament in San Diego, CA.
After starting the tournament with a 1-1-1 record in Pool Play on Saturday; the team came to win on Sunday going 3-0 to take the Championship.
Brianna Jensen led the way offensively going 6 for 12 .500 BA, with 2 Doubles and 3 RBI's.
Overall the team played awesome in their first tournament moving up into the 16U age group. |
