 | High School Fall Ball is ready to start!! I am ready to start my Junior season of Fall ball at Cy Fair Tx Dyess Park. Magnolia West will be know as Westside and our colors are black and silver. We will have our first Varsity team and our Jv will nclude alot of new Freshman.

 | Kaylee did her Summer workout! Kaylee worked out all summer at the gym, while she played and worked out with her summer team.
But it was a payoff today!
She finished FIRST out of all of the softball class in her mile of 7.34 in the mid day Texas heat of 95%.
She did this just after running 10-200 hundreds and the regular off season workout!
She even impressed her brother as he and his teammates practiced football for tomorrows scrimmages! Jacob stated "she was lapping them and leading the pack"! |

She hit very well and showed her skills on the field. Kaylee will be playing with the Avengers Gold for the 08-09 season. This is a great leap for her Junior year. |

The North American Fastpitch Association’s (NAFA) 18U Elite National Tournament is in full swing on ballfields across Sulphur this week. Many teams from across the nation are playing fastpitch softball in NAFA’s tournament, including the two teams pictured: LA United (red) out of Lafayette, Louisiana, and the Bat Busters (black) out of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

 | Batbusters Win again! The Fort Worth Batbusters (Sonny) are on a roll at NAFA Nationals in Sulphur. The defeated the Sugarland Heat 7-3 on 8/30/08. Next up we will be playing the Bad Attitude gold on Thursday morning. The bats were hot during the Heat game and everyone contributed to the great defense and offense during the game.  | Kaylee Kucharski went 3 for 3 today in there first bracket game! Kaylee and the Batbusters played the Bombers yesterday in their first bracket game.
After getting down by three runs in the first inning the Batbusters never gave up. We had runners on 2nd and third and Kaylee came up to bat. They defeated the Orange Crush(Jaynes)team 6-2 and then went on to face the Texas Starz Black later int he day. They defeated the Starz 4-0 and next was the La Rebel team and we took a loss of 4-1. Worth Batbusters (Sonny) will play at the ASA 16U Regional Qualifier in LaPorte, TX this coming weekend. They will begin Saturday right into bracket play at 10:45 am against the Avengers-Hernandez. Games will be played at the Little Cedar Bayou Softball Complex @ 600 Little Cedar Bayou Drive (off of South 8th Street) in LaPorte, TX.

 | Batbusters take 2nd at the Colorado Sparkler The Fort Worth Batbuster (Sonny) and Kaylee ad a wonderful week in Colorado. The Place second in the 16u bracket of the Colroado Sparkler. The bats were hot and Kaylee had excellent execution. She only struck out one time the entire week and had doubles and single all week long. She did an awesome job calling all of the games in pool and bracket play. The team entered into the Championship game undefeated for 7 games. Worth Batbusters (Sonny) made quick work of their opponents, outscoring them 14-4 (So Cal Crunch 5-4 and Texas Travelers 9-0). Kaylee Kucharski continues to amaze her coaches and teammates as she calls all of her own games. Kaylee and the Ft.  | Kaylee Is off to ACU Camp - Abeline Christian University Kaylee and Whitney are both on Fort Worth Batbusters-Sonny. They are both attending the Pitchers camp at Abeline Christian University. Kaylee will be pitching for WHitney and will also be taking an unofficial visit of the campus on Tuesday. After that we are off to an NAFA Qualifier in Pasadena Texas. |

went to Katy Texas to try to qualiy along with 23 other teams. The Batbusters came away with second place to the Texas Travelers -Beard.

 | Softball Team Brings Home a Trophy! Softball Team Brings Home a Trophy!
The MWHS JV Softball Team won the Consolation Trophy at the Schulenburg Varsity Tournament. There was a total of 32 Varsity teams participating.
The Lady Mustangs went 4-1. After dropping the first game by two runs the Lady Mustangs came back and won four in a row to become the consolation winners.

Hit Away After finishing the summer with Hit Away 18u under the direction of Leslie Drennan and Erika Erickson, Kaylee has decided to play with Hit Away for the Fall of 2007.

The Magnolia West Junior Varsity Girls Track team made history Thursday, April 5, 2007. This small group of athletes competed in their 18 4A District track meet and claimed the sole title of District Champions. The Lady Mustangs had a team total of 232.5 points, beating the 2nd place team by 112.5 points.  | Magnolia West (9-10) The Lady Mustangs lost to Episcopal's varsity 5-0 March 20 and then lost to A&M Consolidated 6-16 on March 23.
The team placed 2nd in the Bryan Jv Tournament. The team defeated Montgomery 15-1. Kaylee Kucharski went 2-3 with three RBI'S.
The team then defeated Bryan 18-8 with Heather Peacock going 3-3 with two RBI'S and Chelsea Lemons we 2-3 with a homerun.

 | Magnolia West 2nd Place in The Woodlands/College Park Jv tournament The Lady Mustang freshman team went to the Woodlands/College park JV tournament Feb.17 and came away with 2nd Place after beating Pasadena and College Park by the same score 16-1 .
Audrey Jones (1-0) and Brittany Gore(1-0) both came away with the win. Kaylee Kucharski went 4-5 with six RBI's in two games. The team lost to the Woodlands in the championship game 0-14.

The boy's team finished with nine top three finishes while the girl's team finished with 12.

The Lady Mustangs lost to Ft. Bend Travis 4-1 March 9.
The team bounced back during the Waller JV Tournament March 10 with a 14-1 blow out of Waller. Chelsea Lemons, Brittany Gore, and Kaylee Kucharski combined to go 7-9 at the plate. Gore (3-0) was the winning pitcher.
The team also beat Tarkington 7-3 to win the Consolation Bracket. Audrey Jones had a triple and three RBIs. Jones (2-1) was the winning pitcher.
