By Coni Perry (The Strike Zone)

March 11, 2010

Lacie Perry, pitcher for Taylor Lady Cats & the Ormond Beach Lady Renegades, has committed herself to more volunteer work through organizations based at Stetson University, DeLand, Florida. In addition to her work with younger girls coming up through the ranks in fastpitch softball and donating her time to the Ormond Beach recreational league by working at the concession facility, Lacie will also be volunteering with the following groups:

**The National English Honor Society (NEHS). NEHS, a program of Sigma Tau Delta, serves students and faculty in high schools throughout the country and provides an outreach to thousands of students and faculty who share a commitment to excellence in English language arts.

**The Organization for Students Actively Pursuing Equality (OSAPE) is a student organization on the Deland, FL Stetson University campus. OSAPE was initially started by a group of five students with the common goal of promoting equality on campus, in the community, and globally.
