I have verbally committed to play softball at the University of Central Florida
I want to thank all of my coaches; travel, pitching, hitting and high school. I would also like to thank all of my teammates. In addition, I must thank my parents for all of their support. Not only for helping me achieve my dream of playing softball in college, but for helping me become the person I am today. Thank you Softball Showcase for giving me a place to display my talents.
Kaysci McNeil-Thank, 2016
I attended a few softball camps as I felt the need for a challenge at a higher level of softball.
With support from my Parents & Aunt, I chose to leave the comfort zone of the West Valley in Arizona & try out for one of the most elite teams in Arizona. I headed to Gilbert; over an hour drive from where I live.
I am proud to announce that I am a Killer Bee. It was an exciting moment to have the coach come over and state, "We have been watching you at different camps, you are an athlete. Are you interested in becoming a Killer Bee?" I wanted to reply "Does a dog shed?" LOL. But I uttered nervously, "Yes Coach." Then an exciting moment happened, he asked, "Would you join our team & become a Killer Bee?" I replied, "Yes, it would be an honor."
The rest: We will be making history!!

Rienna Schriner, 2016
The Mill Valley softball team saw its season come to a close on Monday evening as the Lady Jaguars suffered a 2-1 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas in eight innings in the Class 5A regional championship game.
Rienna Schriner led the way for Mill Valley, surrendering just six hits and two earned runs in a complete-game effort. The junior pitcher struck out nine batters without issuing a walk.
Sophomore Kristen Kelly drove in the Lady Jaguars’ only run with an RBI triple in the fifth inning. Schriner and Lexie Myers recorded the team’s other two hits against St. Thomas Aquinas starter Bailey Zuniga.
Mill Valley finished the season with a 14-6 record and defeated Turner 10-0 earlier in the day to advance to the championship game.

Thank you softball showcase for profiling me over the years. I can now say that I officially verbally committed to St. Peter's University as a pitcher. I am proud to be a peacock.
Thanks to all my coaches over the years for helping me achieve my goal of playing softball at a Division 1 level as a pitcher. Without all your hard work, I couldn't have learned the skills needed to play at that level.
