All of my hard work paid off this week when I accomplished one of my goals for the year. I am lucky enough to be the only freshman to make the Westlake High School varsity team.
I only gave up one earned run pitching in my first 16U game. I also hit really well this tournament. It felt so good to have a chance to pitch to batters and to hit live pitching....the off season seemed extra long this year.
